We had an especially adventurous Maui senior portrait session with Will, a self-confessed gym rat and future men's fitness clothing designer, who wanted to do something bit unique for his senior photos.

We were blessed with an epic Maui sunset and some fun backlit waves smashing in the background for him. Thanks of being willing to go the extra mile for creativity, Will!

Congratulations on your senior year and let's cheer on the Class of 2025!

Gorgeous Maui Senior Portraits - Then and Now with Kylie

I couldn't resist posting a photo of Kylie Brewer of the Class of 2020 with nearly the exact pose as she had in her happy baby photo her mom, Katie, sent me. How cute is that?

I feel so blessed to have the clients I do and to meet some of the most incredible members of our future generation of leaders. Kylie is no exception. This young woman has a 5.0 GPA (how is that even possible?) and has already written a book. Wow! Not only does she excel in academics, she is also a student/athlete and loves everything soccer. As for her future, Kylie is looking to possibly go to school on the East Coast to study Law and Political Science since she loves reading and writing as well as a good debate. What a gorgeous young woman Kylie has become! Just look at that caring smile! I definitely want her on my side if she pursues law.

Congratulations Kylie!

Same dimple then and now! Congratulations to another member of the Class of 2020, Alex Walraven.

Handsome, blue-eyed Alex definitely has surfer look and is the baby of the family and I think he got the best traits since he has DIMPLES! My favorite! He is a calm, kind, deep thinker who gravitates towards books, facts, sports and understanding history and political science. He would love to teach history and truly enjoys being a camp counselor for 8-10yr olds at a Christian camp. On a perfect day, you can find Alex reading a book on politics in a hammock. This young man is destined for higher education!

Always the gentleman, Alex was gutsy enough to wear a sport coat, dress pants and button down shirt with a boutonnière during his portrait session. However, I wanted to show one of him in his Aloha shirt and shorts sitting on the lava rock since that was so similar to the one his mom sent me of him as a toddler.

A true student/athlete, Alex runs cross country and plays soccer.

One of my favorite sessions for the Class of 2020 was a future Film Director, Ashton Livingston.

Just look at his name! Can't you just see it on a marquee? This witty, aspiring Film Director from Oregon who received the Academic Excellence Award in Journalism is definitely going to be famous and I look forward to the day when I can say "I knew him when..." He was so cool during his senior portrait session and he even brought his own props! He absolutely loves movies and comic books and sci-fi and that will lead him to tell some very cool stories in his films. I am going to be first in line when his films debut. After graduating, he can look forward to an incredible successful career in the creative arts and entertainment industry.

Ashton just found out a couple of days ago that his graduation ceremonies are canceled and he and his family were crushed to hear the news. I wanted to help celebrate him with a post about how AWESOME he is and how even though missing graduation may seem like a huge thing right now, in the big picture, he will still be graduating high school along with millions of other member of the Class of 2020 who are in the same boat.

We are all so proud of you then and now! We can't wait to see what you do!

Congratulations Ashton!
