Olivia is a water girl. It's what she is passionate about. She is in the water every chance she gets. She is a surfer and swimmer and loves the ocean.

When her mom called to ask if we would like to photograph her we were in the COVID-19 pandemic and had no access to Maui beaches yet. We were able to get her in an infinity pool and create some portraits of her in the water with a seamless background which truly encapsulated who she is as a water girl and celebrate her senior year. Shortly after we photographed her in the pool the beaches were opened and we were able to schedule a separate session of her on the beach, complete with a haku lei (flower crown) created just for her. Making senior portraits of Olivia that are as unique is she is something we pride ourselves in as a photography studio. 

We are so excited for Olivia and delighted to help her celebrate her senior year as a member of the Class of 2020! Congratulations, Olivia!

Star Swimmer, Kobe Lilio is a member of the Class of 2020 from Kamehameha Schools Maui campus, and we have had the pleasure of photographing him more than once, which was an absolute joy for our studio! Even though he is on his way out of high school and off to college next year, his genuine smile has never changed. He is a Kamehameha Warrior in the pool and is extremely dedicated as a Student/Athlete, making his mama, Lesley, proud! Kobe and his sister are both student/athletes and swimmers so they tend to push each other to be better. He was kind enough to let me photograph him both on the beach and in the pool, where he is happiest.

Humble to his core, Kobe is going to have one heck of a career in whatever field he chooses to pursue. We are honored to be a small part of his senior year. 

We are so proud of you then and now! We can't wait to see what you do!

We had another fun round of "Friday Night Lights" themed sports portraits at Kamehameha Schools Maui campus with their athletes.

This time I photographed them without the stadium lights on and gorgeous sunset behind them. We received permission from the school and coaches to photograph two cross country runners who are stars this year.  

I was using my new Flashpoint lighting system and working on high speed sync to develop my skills for my Master of Photography Degree.

Cy was our first model runner and he is one of the calmest, kindest, humble and genuine people I have ever met. It was such a pleasure to not only meet him, but to meet his fun sister, Tehane, who came to the school to watch and help with the session. She was a bundle of joy to have along and such a giggler. We had a great time practicing with the new lights and here are some of the results. i hope you like them!
