Maui, Hawaii based model and actor, Emily, asked us to help her expand her portfolio for her agency using one of the red skirts from our studio collection. When she came to our studio to update her headshot, she saw the skirt and fell in love with it. She is a former gymnast and ballet dancer and loved the look of the red skirt on the beach with the wind and water in the background. The red color worked perfectly in contrast for her Maui beach portraits along with a blue water morning.

Gorgeous Maui actress, Dominque, was generous enough to donate to our Maui Food Bank Virtual Food Drive as part of our Maui Headshot Project and she was a joy to have in the studio for her professional headshots. She wore a simple black top to create less distractions and more focus on her face. We also chose a simple grey background to draw the attention to her instead of a background with multiple textures or colors that might lead the eye away from her. We created a few looks for her to use when needed for different characters and had some good laughs along the way. Dominique has the most infectious smile and laugh!

Check out our first Class of 2021 Maui senior portrait model, @shandon_obregon from Baldwin High School! Shandon is already a successful actor and model (really!) who is a true professional. His goal is to work as a fashion model. We had fun photographing him at a private venue on Maui which gave us a variety of backgrounds and allowed him to change outfits to show his range. Mahalo to Shandon and his mom for all of the laughs. We are delighted Shandon loves his senior portraits! Congratulations on your senior year!
