This handsome pit bull came into our Maui portrait studio to celebrate his new life with his forever home.
He was found next to the road on Maui starving and badly gored by a wild pig with an infection that almost killed him. At the time he was found by his adopted family, he was scared of just about everything. They took him to the vet right away to start the healing process and through lots of patience, love and kindness, they coaxed him back to physical health. He still bears a physical scar on his shoulder but he is a star student in both obedience and agility training at Sit Means Sit. We celebrated his session with a traditional wild boar's tusk adornment and floral lei featuring native Hawaiian plants including palapalai ferns and a'ali'i from Haawina Farms and his favorite dog auntie's yard. He is one sweet, happy, healthy and lucky dog.
He was gifted a Sandy Paws session by one of his owner’s friends who believes in second chances.
