Classic Hollywood and 1950s Dream Shoot

She's Baaaack! Returning client, Justine, wowed us with her Dream Shoot of always wanting to be Marilyn Monroe, a 50's Housewife and a classic Hollywood starlet.

OK, who doesn't want to look like a beautiful starlet from old Hollywood? We were happy to help! Needless to say, our Glam Squad and I had a blast getting her prepped for her 100% fully styled Dream Shoot in our Maui photography studio.

Our stylist, Lovisa, took care of all of her props and wardrobe as well as getting her fitted properly before the shoot date. On the day of her session, our Studio Glam Squad including Dacia Waller from Spa Lotus and Oona Mariano of Oona Bella Beauty were on had to get her perfectly prepped for her various characters. Between looks, our stylist got her ready in the new outfit and our Hair and Makeup team made sure she transitioned with the appropriate hair and makeup for the time period and look we wanted.

We are excited to launch our newest portrait sessions on Maui called Dream Shoots Maui.

These portrait sessions on Maui are all about our dreams and what we have always wanted to be or do. The first Dream Shoot, featured here, is our Shipwrecked Dream Shoot. Our talented stylist, Lovisa, put together the clothing and props and then we went to one of Maui's beautiful scenic beaches to let our client's twin boys explore as if they were castaways shipwrecked on a desert island. The boys had a blast being boys and we enjoyed capturing every minute of the fun.

The goal for our Shipwrecked Dream Shoot on Maui is to let kids be kids and enjoy a little time on the beach playing castaways while we make gorgeous portraits of them in natural light in epic Maui locations. We love clean backgrounds and unposed portraits to allow the children to be themselves. We designed a beautiful custom album for the client so they could celebrate this time in the twins life.
